няшей быть сложно, но я стараюсь
Famous Nobel Laureate-poet-songwriter-music composer, Rabindranath Tagore (Indian poet) wrote in a song: “Forget me not, despite if older passion is covered with the newer lattice of ardour.” You don’t need to forget anyone; you just need to venture into new ways, new avenues.
There’s an excellent poem in Bengali, again by Rabindranath Tagore, named “Bojhapora” or “An Understanding”. I am quoting some lines from that poem to finish off the answer:
Neither everyone fit to your frame,
Nor you fit into theirs.
Some’s stress is your gain,
While others cry to your cheers.
But why must there be
So much of stress and aching?
If you reach for it the right way -
Pleasure is there for the taking.
The dawn’s light still feels sweet,
The sky still stays as blue,
When death comes, suddenly it strikes
That Life is the better of the two.
For whom, once the tears flowed,
And without whom, nothing seemed right,
Now, it seems even without,
The world looks huge and bright.
Tell thyself today,
Whether the truth be stormy or breezy,
Let it be in your mind, sit easy.
